STEP 1: CHOOSE STYLE

Ripple Fold
Signature "S" fold creates a clean, uniform look, appropriate for a wide range of environments including residential and commercial interiors.

Pinch Pleat (Two or Three)
Pinch Pleat style has French Two (2) Finger and French Three (3) Finger options. Pleats are tacked at the top, middle or bottom.

Inverted Pleat
Hand-stitched inverted pleats create a relaxed chic look. Customize your design by choosing from 200+ materials.
STEP 2: CHOOSE LENGTH

A. Sill:
- ½” above the windowsill.
- These are the shortest of the standard curtain lengths, which make them a good choice for some fun pattern or color experimentation.
- Since they take up less visual space, you won’t get tired of a bold choice.
B. Apron:
- 1″ below the bottom of the window apron.
- These aren’t as popular as they used to be, but simply practical.
- Your curtains won’t gather dust and dirt from the floor, and they’ll be easy to open
and close.
C. Floor:
- ½” above the floor.
- Polished and stylish.
- Floor-length curtains will elongate your window and make your room feel taller.
- Since they don’t quite touch the floor, the curtains will hang perfectly straight.
D: Puddle:
- 6-10″ more than the length to the floor.
- This look is beautiful when done right, but it’s not for curtains that are routinely
opened and closed. Not recommended if you have pets or young kids. - The extra fabric pooling at the bottom tend to pick up pet hair, crumbs, and dirt.
STEP 3: CHOOSE LINING

Lining is standard on all non-sheer draperies and is available in three neutral color choices: white, beige, and gray. Lining adds fullness and body to your drapery, giving it a more luxurious and structured appearance. It also helps protect the fabric from the damaging effects of sunlight, which is especially important for delicate materials like silk and linen (lining is required for both). Beyond aesthetics and protection, linings enhance overall performance by improving light control, privacy, insulation, and even reducing outside noise. We offer several lining options to suit your needs, including LF Lining, LF Plus Lining, Thermal Lining, and Blackout Lining (as shown above).

STEP 4: BEAD WEIGHT
A bead weight can be sewn into the bottom hem of a side panel or drapery to reduce flaring and help thicker fabrics lie straighter as standard. Included at no charge when selected.

“We are really pleased”
“White Glove Service”
I received several quotes for shades. I knew as soon as Fifty Shades walked in they were the company to use. They gave me great assistance in picking the right type and color shades for my décor. They made the process simple and straightforward with very competitive pricing…
